Mission Statement
The goal of the Friends of the Monticello Public Library is to enhance the Monticello Public Library by improving facilities, equipment, inventories and programs, to increase community awareness and support of the Monticello Public Library and the Friends Group, and to perpetuate the idea through advocacy and heightened community awreness that the Monticello Public Library is an asset to the community that enhances the quality of life in Monticello.

Meetings
The Friends meet four times a year, every second Tuesday in January, April, August, and October at 7:30 p.m. in the library.
How to Become a Friend
Individuals and families are eligible to join the Friends of the Monticello Public Library by paying their annual membership dues. Ask at the library circulation desk for a brochure. Anyone is welcome to become a member in the Friends.
