Kids

At the Monticello Public Library, we believe that early literacy is more than just reading. It's playing, singing, talking, writing, and reading. Follow us on Facebook for weekly tips and tricks to help your child to get ready for school. It's never too early or too late to start doing these activities with your child!

We understand that families are busy. We want to help you out! Every month we have a craft available in the library that you can take home and work on in your own time. We provide almost everything you'll need to complete the craft. You'll just need things like scissors and glue or tape. That's it!

We have included some resources below to help you plan and implement activities for your little ones that you can do as a whole family.
