Computers and Internet

Free internet access is available at the Monticello Public Library. Programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Publisher and others are also available for use on library computers. Black and white or color printing are available on all computers.  Call ahead to reserve a computer!  

*Users must abide by our  Computer and Internet Safety Policy in order to use a computer in the library.

Wireless Internet

Free and fast wireless access is available at the Monticello Public Library. Bring your laptop computer, PDA or other device with a WiFi-compatible network card.  Wireless users must agree to abide by the library's Computer and Internet Safety Policy

Wireless access is also available from our parking lot through our new access point. This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the South Central Library System and the CARES ACT.

Scanning and Emailing or Saving

Documents and photos can be scanned and saved or sent via our photocopier.  You can email scanned files directly to your email address or scan and save them to a USB drive.  If you would like a staff person to assist you, please call ahead of time to make an appointment.

Computer Help

If you would like assistance in using a computer program, please call 608-938-4011 ahead of time in order to make an appointment. This will help us ensure that a staff member is available to help you.
